Just last week, I popped into a thrift store and managed to score a gorgeous pair of vintage cream leather gloves with tiny pearl button closures. They are pristine, soft as all get out, and stamped "made in Italy" inside.
And I got them for a whopping three dollars.
:-)
I'm hoping to do some embroidery on them - but until I get the time, I just like to look at them. :)
Many, many years ago I acquired a pair of vintage jet-embroidered black jersey evening gloves. Somewhere about the fourth or fifth move they disappeared.
Feel free to use any of these images for your personal use, but please don't "harvest" them for resale... or the bad karma fairy will whack you over the head with her wand and all of your children will have crooked toes.
I'm a collector of 1940s-60s just-about-anything, I have enough old snapshots to wallpaper a small house, and I'm saving my pennies so that one day I can have my very own roller rink.

I still dream of them, sometimes.
