I love it when they put a fashion photo shoot into the everyday environments, even in this days magazines, moreover in retro pictures. It's not just about fashion anymore, it's about life and people. So nostalgic!
I love how the steel gray of her outfit reflects the steel gray of the plane in the first shot. Except her outfit is fuzzy and the plane is...well...steel.

Hey Millie, we thought you might be interested in this new museum of kitsch (at www.AWMoK.com) launching on September 14th but we can't find your contact info - please email Kristen at kitsch(at)ghettogloss(dot)com for more information. Thanks!
Feel free to use any of these images for your personal use, but please don't "harvest" them for resale... or the bad karma fairy will whack you over the head with her wand and all of your children will have crooked toes.
I'm a collector of 1940s-60s just-about-anything, I have enough old snapshots to wallpaper a small house, and I'm saving my pennies so that one day I can have my very own roller rink.
