I have to admit that I do hate to feel incongruous. I will have to overcome that and take pride in my "lofty figure" and not spend the night shuffling around in "apologetic little heels." :)
We were talking about being tall at work the other day and my friend Roxy quoted her grandmother re: long shoe sizes. "You don't have big feet, you just have large under standings."
Feel free to use any of these images for your personal use, but please don't "harvest" them for resale... or the bad karma fairy will whack you over the head with her wand and all of your children will have crooked toes.
I'm a collector of 1940s-60s just-about-anything, I have enough old snapshots to wallpaper a small house, and I'm saving my pennies so that one day I can have my very own roller rink.

According to this I am short now that it's 2010 :)
Add to that "pleasingly plump" (one of the best literary phrases ever!) and I can't compare to the tall, "willowy" girls! :)
Where do you find all these fun things, Gina?
I love the illustrations!
